LifeWay Health is the home for public safety professionals in Western North Carolina. We are excited to provide services aimed at improving the lives of those who give so much to our community.

We are offering NFPA 1582 physicals for fire personnel along with DOT physicals for your drivers who have their commercial driver's license. We are providing the service at our facility in Asheville. We are centrally located which makes the experience convenient.

One stressor for most chiefs is to come up with a plan to schedule their entire department to get annual physicals. This equates to overtime costs and a reduction in available resources. We recognize this dilemma and want to work to improve the experience.

Each firefighter will receive individualized attention. We use functional principles to ensure that each firefighter is properly screened for diseases that can be treated or avoided completely. We do not want any firefighter to feel as if they are simply a number and pushed through the process. 

​

The goal of the annual physical for us is to provide each firefighter with the beginning of the year's health goals. The physical will enable each member to utilize any service that LifeWay Health offers.

The other services include things like regular primary care, sick visits, massage therapy for injuries, health coaching, IV hydration, and many more. 

​

The department can utilize LifeWay Health to handle things such as COVID-19 rapid testing or employment related drug testing. Smoking cessation may be a concern for your department which we can provide. We want to become your one stop shop for all things medically related to the fire service.
